Why is the stock market down today?
Experts say that rising geopolitical tensions, uncertainty over the US elections in 2024 and continued selling by foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) are the key factors influencing market sentiment. Apart from this, disappointing September quarter earnings and stretched valuation of the Indian stock market are also contributing to the market decline.
