UTET 2024 Paper-1 is for candidates who are eligible to teach classes 1 to 5, and UTET Paper-2 is for teaching classes 6 to 8. The Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) Paper II is designed for candidates willing to teach primary classes, specifically classes VI to VIII. The paper is presented in bilingual format, available in both English and Hindi languages.

UTET 2024 Marking Scheme

Candidates must carefully review the CTET marking scheme to understand the UTET exam pattern. There will be no penalty for wrong answers or unanswered questions.

Correct Answers	Candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer.
Incorrect Answers	No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
Unattempted Questions	There is no penalty for unattempted questions.

UTET 2024 Important Points to Remember

• The candidate must mention the first language chosen and the second language chosen in his/her UTET application form. 
• The applicant must choose either Hindi or English for the primary language, which will be the language of instruction. The length of the question paper in the mentioned language will be more than the second chosen language. 
• The applicant must choose either Hindi, English, Sanskrit or Urdu for the second language, which should be different from the primary chosen language. 
• For UTET II, ​​one subject must be chosen from Mathematics and Science or Social Research subjects. 
• There is no negative marking for Paper I and Paper 2. 
• The time duration of each paper is 2 hours and half an hour. 
• The candidates can appear in both the papers. 
• Once the language is chosen, the candidates cannot make any changes in it. 
• Paper 1 consists of 5 subjects, while Paper 2 consists of only 4 subjects.
