Indian Navy Recruitment 2024: Indian Navy has started the application process for 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission)-January 2025 from today. A total of 40 posts will be filled for Executive and Technical Branch through this recruitment drive. Interested candidates can apply online comfortably by visiting the website join indiannavy.gov.in before 20th July. Before applying, they are advised to read the information related to the recruitment once, only then start the further process.
Educational Qualification
Candidates who have passed class 12th examination with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English from any recognized board. Along with this, candidates will have to appear for JEE (Main) – 2024 exam (for BE / BTech). Call-ups for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued only on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2024 published by NTA.
Know about the training
Selected candidates will be recruited into the Indian Navy as cadets for a four-year B.Tech course in Applied Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering as per the requirements of the Navy.
After completion of the course, the cadets will be awarded B.Tech degree by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). After which, as per the existing policy, the cadets will be sent to the Executive and Technical Branches (Engineering and Electrical).
Eligibility and Criteria
To apply for this recruitment, one must have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent from a recognized board. The candidate must have obtained 70 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics subjects and minimum 50 percent marks in English during 10th or 12th class. Along with this, the candidate must have been born between 2 July 2005 to 1 January 2008.

Candidates who are successful in this stage will finally have to appear for the medical examination. Finally, the merit list will be prepared based on the performance.
