Indian Army Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Direct Entry Havildar
| Educational Qualification | Minimum educational qualification is matriculation. |
| Age Limit | The age limit for enrolment will be from 17 ½ to 25 years should have completed 17 ½ Age should not be more than 25 years on the first day of enrolment and should not be more than 25 years on the last day of enrolment. |
| Sports Achievements | The selection will be made from among those who have represented in any of the sports specified in the notification. |
| The person must be a medal winner at the Junior/Senior level by representing the state in national competitions or must have represented the country at the International level (Indian competition). | |
| Individuals must have represented the state or country in national or international competitions at the junior/senior level (team event). | |
| The person must be a medal winner at Khelo India Games and Youth Games or above. |

| Educational Qualification | Minimum educational qualification is matriculation. |
| Age Limit | The age limit for enrolment will be from 17 ½ to 25 years should have completed 17 ½ on the first day of enrolment and must have not crossed 25 yrs on the last day of enrolment. |
| Sports Achievements: | Individuals should be winners of any medal in the World Championship/Asian Championships. |
| Individuals should be winners of any medal in Asian Games. | |
| Individuals should be winners of any medal in CWG/World Cup. | |
| Represented India twice in Asian Games/ Commonwealth Games/ World Cup. | |
| Represented India in the Olympics. |

What is Selection Criteria For Indian Army Recruitment 2024?
Qualified candidates will be called for trials at designated Army centres. Candidates who qualify the Physical Fitness Test, Physical Standard Test and Skill Test will have to undergo medical examination at the trial site itself. Offer of enrolment will be sent to only selected candidates, which will be determined based on the requirement and availability of vacancies in particular sports disciplines.

Indian Army Havildar & Subedar (Sports) Selection Process
Indian Army Havildar & NB Subedar (Sports) Recruitment 02/2024 consists of a variety of stages to ensure that only the most suitable candidates are selected:
Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Candidates will have to undergo a rigorous physical fitness test to assess their physical capabilities.
Physical Standard Test (PST): This test measures the physical standards of the candidates, including height, chest and weight requirements.
Sports Test: Candidates with sporting achievements will be assessed based on their performance in various sports tests.
Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the above stages will have to undergo a detailed medical examination to ensure that they are medically fit for service.
