Post Details, Eligibility & Qualification
Age Limit: The age limit for Haryana Police Recruitment 2024 is 18-28 years for Constable and 21-30 years for Sub-Inspector. (All candidates are given 3 years age relaxation). The crucial date for calculating age is 1.6.2024. Age relaxation will be given as per government rules.

Haryana Police Constable Exam Pattern 2024 and Syllabus
Haryana Police PMT Candidate List 2024 After the physical test, a written test will be conducted. The exam pattern of Haryana Police Constable is given below.
All questions will be compulsory. The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi). An offline (OMR-based) written test will be conducted for the knowledge test for recruitment to the post of constable.
There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The total number of questions will be 100 and each question will carry a weightage of 0.945 marks.
If a candidate does not mark any of the five options for a question, 0.945 marks will be deducted for each attempted question. The candidate will have to mandatorily fill one option out of the five options given. If the candidate does not know the answer then additional five minutes will be given to mark the fifth option.
The total time given for the paper will be (100+5) = 105 minutes including five minutes.
- (a) All candidates will be required to take a Knowledge Test carrying 94.5% (94.5%) weightage consisting of objective type multiple choice questions. Each question will carry equal marks.
- (b)The medium of examination will be bilingual i.e. Hindi/English, except in cases where knowledge of Hindi/English language of the candidates is to be tested.
- (c) The test paper will consist of questions related to General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, other relevant field/trade etc. At least 10% of the questions will be related to basic knowledge of computers and at least 20% of the questions will be related to basic knowledge about Haryana. The standard of questions will be as expected from an educated person who has passed 10+2 examination for the post of constable and graduation for the post of sub-inspector.
- (d) To be considered for selection for a General Category post, a candidate must secure a minimum of 50% marks (excluding socio-economic criteria weightage) in the Knowledge Test. In case a candidate is considered for a reserved category post (whether vertical or horizontal), a relaxation of 10% will be given to the candidate, i.e. the minimum cut-off for such candidates will be 40% (excluding socio-economic criteria weightage).
Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Haryana Police PMT Candidate List 2024 As per the new recruitment rules of Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024, candidates 10 times the number of vacancies will be called for Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). As per the new recruitment rules, PMT and PET will be of qualifying nature and no marks will be given for PMT and PET. After that, a written exam will be conducted which will consist of 100 questions for 94.5 marks.
Candidates will also be given 2.5 marks for socio-economic criteria and 3 marks for NCC certificate. The selection process of Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2023 consists of the following stages:
