Delhi EWS Admission Result 2024 : The website edudel.nic.in is accepting applications for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) admissions for classes 2 to 9 for the academic year 2024-25. You can apply online for EWS certificate for school admission in Delhi. The application form is available on the Ahmedabad city government website. Delhi EWS Admission Result 2024 : On May 31, 2024, the results of the Delhi EWS Admission lottery system for the 2024-25 session unveiled, offering clarity to families on their children’s school placements. Documents required for the Delhi EWS Admission 2024-25

The parents would need the following documents to apply for the Delhi EWS admission for the 2024-25 session for pre-primary to class 1:

• Photograph of the children
• Parent’s Aadhar Card
• BPL card
• Income certificate
• Disability proof (if applicable)
• Birth certificate
• Residence proof

The applicants should ensure the documents are correct and accurate as per their category and norms as any mistake can lead to the cancellation of their child’s admission under the scheme.

Steps to apply for the Delhi EWS Admission 2024-25

Before applying for Delhi EWS admission, you should know that only one child’s application will be processed from one mobile number. Also, multiple applications for the same child will result in cancellation of the child’s candidature, so apply carefully.

Follow the below steps to apply for the Delhi EWS Admission 2024-25 online, once the online portal is open on 30 April 2024:

• Go to the official website of the Directorate of Education of Delhi at http://www.edudel.nic.in/
• Now, navigate to Delhi EWS admissions 2024-25 in the EWS admission section.
• Next, click on the Registration link for Delhi EWS admissions for 2024-25.
• Now, register yourself on the portal through the required details, such as mobile number, email ID, etc.
• Now, log in to the portal through registration credentials and fill out the application form with the correct details such as child name, preferred school, etc.
• After that, upload the requested documents on the portal in the preferred size.
• Next, review the details one more time and click on the “Submit” button.
• Now, download or save the application form for future purposes and wait for the result of the lottery system.

EWS Admission 2024-25 Start Date:

The Delhi Education Department has announced the dates for EWS admission 2024-25. One fourth of all seats in private schools are reserved for EWS and DG category students. The admission process for these seats is different. Online applications for EWS admission have started on November 23, 2023 on the website edudel.nic.in.

EWS Admission 2024-25 Last Date:

The application process for EWS admissions for nursery, kindergarten and class 1 for 2024-25 is now closed. The last date to apply was December 15, 2023. Schools will release the first list of admitted students soon.

EWS Admission Delhi 2024-25:

The EWS admission process for 2024-25 in Delhi schools is now complete. This includes admissions for Nursery, Kindergarten, and Class 1. A quarter of the seats were reserved for EWS and DG students. These students needed additional documents for admission into private schools.

Delhi EWS Eligibility 2024:

The Delhi Education Department has shared the eligibility information for nursery admission. It is worth noting that 25% of the seats in private schools are reserved for underprivileged and disabled students. Schools can set their own criteria, and some give additional points if the child’s family has studied there. Factors such as distance from school or residence may be considered.

For EWS Nursery Admission 2024-25, the age limit is important. To apply, children must be 3, 4 and 5 years old for nursery, KG and class 1 respectively as on March 31. Schools can relax the age limit by up to 30 days.

Here are the age limits:

• Nursery: Under 4 years old by March 31
• KG: Under 5 years old by March 31
• Class 1: Under 6 years old by March 31

EWS Admission 2024-2025 Documents Required:

1. Your child’s birth certificate.
2. Your ration card.
3. A domicile certificate for your child or you.
4. Your voter ID card.
5. A utility bill or any proof of your address.
6. Your Aadhaar card.

Age Limit :

In terms of age eligibility, the admission criteria for the entry-level classes (Pre-school / Nursery, Pre-primary / KG, and Primary / Class-1 ) under the EWS / DG category will remain unchanged from the previous year.

Eligibility for admission :

Eligibility for admission under Economically Weaker Section Category in Private Unaided Recognized Schools in Delhi is open to :

• Any individual residing in Delhi.
• Those with valid residence proof of Delhi.
• Holders of requisite Income Certificate issued by the Revenue Department of GNCT of Delhi.
• BPL / AAY (Ration Card / Food Security Card) holders.
• Income Limit : Parents’ income must remain low ₹1 lakh, despite the Delhi High Court revising the limit to ₹2.5 lakh.
