Chandigarh Police IT Constable Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for Chandigarh Police IT Constable Recruitment 2024 includes the following stages:

• Stage-1: Written Exam
• Stage-2: Physical Efficiency & Measurement Test (PEMT)
• Stage-2: Document Verification
• Stage-3: Medical Examination

Chandigarh Police Constable (IT) Exam Pattern 2024

All candidates shall be put through a written test (Computer Based Test/ OMR Sheet-based test) which shall consist of Tier-I and Tier-II.

Tier-I Test shall carry 100 marks. The questions shall be multiple choice objective type and will carry one mark for every correct answer and a negative marking of 0.25 for every
wrong answer and shall include questions on:-

• General Knowledge/ Current Affairs
• Reasoning
• Numerical Ability

Tier-II Test, This test of 50 marks will test the proficiency of the candidates in their field of specialization as per the syllabus given in the notification. The questions will be multiple choice objective type and will carry one mark for each correct answer and negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. The question papers for the written test will be in Hindi, English and Punjabi. Each candidate will be given the test paper in the language opted by the candidate during the application process. Change of medium will not be permitted.
