Eligibility Criteria
Field Worker Vacancy 2024 To be eligible for JFWCE, candidates must have completed matriculation (10th class) from a recognized educational institution.
Registration Fee
- General Category: The application fee for general category candidates is ₹ 100. This fee is a standard fee for conducting the application process and recruitment examination.
- SC/ST Category: The application fee has been reduced to ₹ 50 for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST). This relaxation is provided to encourage the participation of these categories in the recruitment process.
- PWD Candidates: Candidates classified as Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are exempted from paying the application fee. This exemption ensures that the recruitment process is accessible to all eligible candidates, regardless of their physical abilities.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit for the candidates applying for this recruitment has been kept at 18 years and the maximum age limit at 35 years. The age limit of the candidates applying for this recruitment will be calculated on the basis of 1st August 2024. Selection Process

Step 2: Registration
After visiting the website, candidates have to find the link “Online Application for Worker Recruitment 2024” and click on it. This will take them to the registration page where they have to provide the required details to complete the registration process.
Step 3: Fill the application form
After registration, candidates will receive a registration number and password on their registered email and mobile number. They have to log in using these credentials and fill the application form with the required details.
Step 4: Upload Documents
In this step, candidates have to upload scanned copies of their photographs, signatures, and other required documents as per the specifications mentioned in the notification.
Step 5: Pay Fee
The next step is to pay the application fee, which varies depending on the category of the candidate. General category candidates have to pay ₹100, SC/ST category candidates have to pay ₹50, and PWD candidates are exempted from the fee. The fee can be paid through the available online payment modes.

Pattern of Exam
The Commission will conduct CBT (Computer Based Test)/OMR based examination. If the examination is conducted in different groups, the marks obtained by the candidates will be normalized and the merit list will be prepared on the basis of normalized marks of their marks and normalized marks will be given to them after the publication of the result.
- The examination will be conducted in one phase (Main Examination).
- All questions in the exam will be objective and multiple choice answer based.
- 3 (three) marks will be given for each correct answer.
- 1 (one) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Except language subjects, questions of other subjects will be in Hindi and English languages.
Main Exam
There will be three papers for the main exam. This exam will be taken in three shifts. The duration of each paper will be 2 hours. It will contain the following subjects:-
Letter – 1
(Language Knowledge): Total Questions – 120, Exam Duration – 2 Hours
(a) Knowledge of Hindi language | 80 questions |

The marks obtained in language knowledge will be only qualifying, in which it will be mandatory to obtain 30% marks by adding the marks obtained in Hindi and English language knowledge to pass. The marks obtained in this paper will not be added for determining the merit list.
Letter – 2
Regional and Tribal Language, Total Questions- 100, Exam Duration- 2 Hours
Candidates can appear for the exam in any one language based on their choice: Hindi/ English/ Sanskrit/ Urdu/ Santhali/ Bengali/ Mundari (Munda)/ Ho/ Kharia/ Kudukh (Uraon)/ Kurmali/ Khortha/ Nagpuri/ Panchpargania/ Oriya. One hundred (100) multiple choice based questions will be asked in this exam in the respective language. |

Note:- Minimum qualifying marks in Paper-1 (Language Knowledge) Examination is 30% (thirty percent). Candidates securing less than this marks will be considered unsuccessful/ineligible for selection for appointment and Paper-2 and Paper-3 of such candidates will not be evaluated. Similarly, Paper-3 of candidates securing less than 30% marks in identified regional/tribal language Paper-2 will not be evaluated.
