AP ECET Results 2024: Tie-Breaking Formula

AP ECET Results 2024 Out at : The exam authority will use a normalization method to prepare the rank list. However, if two or more candidates score the same mark, the officials will use a tie-breaking method to allot ranks. The Tie-Breaking Procedure is given below

• First Priority will be given to the candidate having higher marks in Mathematics.
• If a tie continues, candidates with higher marks in Physics & Chemistry will be placed higher.
• Again, if a tie is still not broken the candidate’s date of birth is considered, the older being given preference over the younger.

What Next After AP ECET Results 2024?

Candidates declared qualified in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) are called to appear for the AP ECET 2024 counselling process which will be held in July. Candidates will have to register for AP ECET counselling 2024 and fill out their choices for the college and course in order of their preference.
